Banning and blocking the blog have been far from over yet. It shocked me a lot, when I just about to send a file on a website automatically to one of my blogspot account in the middle of the night April 15. THe message is posted above. It happened in a very nice star hotel HORISON in Palembang. I, at first, was very happy to know that the hotel provide the customer with "free" wifi connection in every room, lobby or even any corner inside the hotel. What an effort to suppor regional economy through the slogan "VISIT MUSI 2008" but failed to address the national issues on Cyber law on regional desk. THus..everyone must take the lesson, it is not like father like son, but...Jakarta's policy to ban Internet and specific blog is easily followed by region. When Jakarta took it off, the region stood still. Because of the different interpretation and banning policy of the hotel, I can not send any important message and files on time.
I bet, none of the authority could have imagine what would happened in the regions. They're too far to be reached, distantly and in mind.
Again, what a pity.
